힐링을 만나는 시간, 완주 모악산 웰니스축제가 내달 찾아온다.

26일 완주군은 오는 4월 13일부터 14일까지 양일간 모악산 전북 도립미술관 일원에서 웰빙, 건강, 행복을 주제로 하는 제2회 모악산 웰니스 축제가 열린다고 밝혔다.

이번 축제는 웰니스 주제에 걸맞은 클래식, 어쿠스틱, 뮤지컬 등 무대공연을 기본으로 웃음소리로 상품을 수여하는 ‘웃으면 복이와요’, 턱걸이, 매달리기 왕을 뽑는 ‘모악산 턱돌이를 찾아라’ 등 방문객 참여이벤트와 모악산 일대 관광 자원을 활용한 5가지 기획 체험이 마련됐다.

맨발걷기 박동창 명사와 함께하는 ▲모악산 맨발등반 ▲숲속에서 쉬며 체험하는 모악산 숲크닉, ▲모악산 축구장을 활용한 계류 비행으로 저수지 경관을 내려다보는 열기구 탑승 체험 ▲쑥뜸, 한의원 진료 등이 포함된 안덕마을 건강행복체험을 비롯해 관외 단체 방문객을 겨냥한 ▲술박물관 체험&구이저수지 둘레길 걷기 프로그램이 진행될 예정이다.

이외에도 웰니스 주제에 따라 지역 주민, 농가 부스와 공익단체 등이 48개 부스 운영자로 참여한다.

앞서 완주군은 참여부스 운영자 60여 명을 대상으로 사전 교육을 실시해 축제장의 바가지요금 근절과 먹거리 부스 운영자들의 위생 안전관리를 강화했다.

유희태 완주군수는 “이번 축제가 봄철을 맞아 나들이 계획을 꾸리는 방문객들에게 좋은 자리가 되길 바란다”며 “방문객들이 안심하고 즐길 수 있는 축제가 되도록 안전관리에 만전을 기하겠다”고 말했다.
